Versatility and Adaptability
Glass fencing's greatest aspect is its versatility. The most obvious
benefit of having a glass paneled fence or balcony is that it does
not obstruct your view, and they are often utilized to take advantage
of panoramic views of nature or cityscapes. Glass fences also block
the sound and wind. For this reason, they are often referred to
as glass sound walls, and are often seen alongside noisy traffic
corridors.
But there are more advantages. Glass fencing is used for upgrading.
Many homeowners are troubled by weathered, deteriorating wrought
iron and wood fencing. Not only must this type of fence be periodically
primed and painted, but it does little to block out sound or wind.
Akme Glass Company will tear down your old wrought iron or wood
fence and haul it away for you. They will construct a new glass
fence, which is virtually maintenance-free, in its place.
Glass fencing is adaptable and utilized to accommodate different
types of terrain as well as sloped, stepped, and curved walls. It
can be secured to decks, patios, and balconies in several different
ways. It can also be retrofitted to existing block walls in order
to extend noise attenuation without impeding sight lines.
A gate is another option for your glass fencing or deck. Gates
come with a lockable latch system and stainless steel hinges.
